Humanitarian Aid
Our Mission:
Meet the ever-changing needs of crisis
It started by diving head first into the wreckage of gulf coastal Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. Soon we were delivering water and rebuilding wheelchair ramps for the people of Flint. The Covid lockdown found us mass producing and distributing free PPE all over the US and as far away as Uganda.
Our mission starts whenever chaos ensues. Whether it be a pandemic, an environmental disaster, a war zone, or any complex humanitarian environment. We are an ever-growing team of medics, veterans, and humanitarian volunteers with decades of combined experience spanning the globe in the most difficult and unpredictable environments.
Currently our mission is focused on the unjust invasion of Ukraine. Within 2 weeks since the start of this atrocious war we have been boots on the ground moving supplies directly to frontline units and civilians who need them most; skipping any middlemen in the process to keep our overhead low and our efficiency high.
During 14 months in Ukraine we:
Coordinated and conducted passenger evacuations around the country.
To this date we have sourced, prepared and delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars of humanitarian aid, medical supplies, and protective equipment
individually and collectively with partner NGOs.Trained both military and civilians in pre-hospital care.
Helped build a vast network with the Ukrainian Armed Forces and military units throughout the country, dozens of NGOs both foreign and domestic, and built strong connections with government officials.
Our licensed medical providers have designed an alternative to the CAT (Combat Application Tourniquet, aka “windlass tourniquet”) called the MDR TQT that are now being built by our volunteer teams in the US for shipment overseas.
Assisted IDP centers throughout the country, orphanages, and have tirelessly worked in every capacity we can to assist these beautiful, resilient people in this
horrific assault on a sovereign nation.
We have no plans to slow down and intend to continue to operate in Ukraine in the rebuild efforts even after the war is won. Slava Ukraini.
MDR’s Vision:
To continue to grow and use the tools we have gained in other conflict zones such as Ethiopia and Yemen and potentially… the current middle east conflict. We also stay on the ground, after the fighting ends to use what we have learned from natural disaster cleanup, to help rebuild and resupply war-torn homes and medical facilities, and business.
